Here is a beautifully well bred bitch from the Benchmark Golden Retrievers. She is seven generations of Benchmark.  She is sired by MBIS, MBISS Am GCH Avalor’s INXS, who is currently in the Show Dog Hall Of Fame. Her Dam is Benchmark’s White Collard Crime.

In 2010, Carmel won 1st place in the American Bred Bitch class at the Golden Retriever Club of America’s National Specialty held in Colorado. It is a very exciting win, with many nice bitches that competed against her. My sincere thanks
to Judge Pluis Davern for this honor.

Carmel just started here showing career and is having fun being on the road with me, and is owner handled!! She has shown great potential as a show dog. A rock chewing accident caused the removal of an upper middle incisor. She’s is consistently winning in spite of the tooth.

2011 has been a big year for Carmel. In this year, Carmel started and almost completed Canadian Championship, and is only lacking one point to finish. Furthermore, she had her first litter of puppies. She was bred to GCH CH Stonecrest’s
Super Cruiser RN JH, who was the 2011 National Specialty winning Select Dog in Atlanta GA.

2012 has been a year of reclaiming her girlish figure, goal completions, and field events. In May, Carmel completed her Canadian Championship on a five point win (when she only needed one point). This year she began to work on her field
training. Carmel was trained for her Junior Hunter and Working Certificate titles.

Carmel attended the 2012 National Specialty in St Louis Missouri. Carmel ran the Working Certificate test in Missouri.  Carmel not only passed, but flawlessly ran the WC at the National. At this time, she received WC initials behind her name. Carmel will also be highlighted in the GR News as a winner at the National Specialty WC test.

Secondly, Carmel completed and was awarded her JH title in October, after four successful JH qualified runs. Carmel loves the birds!! And while Carmel continued to work on the field titles, she occasionally returns to the ring, and has been
awarded additional points toward her AKC Championship.

A Carmel ex Bogie litter is being planned for 2013. Stay tuned!!
