Here is an amazing dog that I was lucky to obtain from Carol Manthorne of Thornelea Golden Retrievers. He is sired by BISS BOSS Am CH Crystalfall’s Fortune Hunter CGC NAJ. His father is a Best in Specialty Show Winner, Best of Opposite Sex in a Specialty, Best in Sweepstakes, and Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes. His Dam is Am/Can CH Sunnybrae Thornelea Stargazer.
He is the littermate to Am/Can CH Thornelea Bond…James Bond (who finished his AKC Championship in 2011 and Canadian Championship in 2012), and Thornelea Chatham’s Ain’T Misbehavin (AKC pointed and just needs one major to finish her AKC Championship).
Bogie has followed in his father’s footsteps by winning Best in Specialty Show under Breeder Judge Denise Reel, of VanReel’s Golden Retrievers. Furthermore, he has also won multiple Best in Sweepstakes. After finishing his AKC Championship, Bogie has continued to shine in the Best of Breed ring. In 2012, Bogie went to St Louis Missouri to attend the GRCA National Specialty. Out of almost two hundred dogs in the GRCA Best of Breed, Bogie was selected through by Judge Dana Cline, to the final cut of the Best of Breed. Bogie accomplished this at only two years of age. So close!! Something, Bogie will be back to attend when he is a bit older.
Bogie achieved his Grand Championship in seven days. He finished very quickly due to winning five back to back BOB majors. Bogie finished his Grand Championship in style on three back to back Best of Breed wins and was awarded a Sporting Group 3 by Judge Denise Cornelssen on the day he finished his Grand Championship!! I have fun showing him in the show ring. He loves showing, and smiles when he is in the ring. I am proud to say that I am a part of this team!!
In 2012, Bogie is showing real promise with his field work, and just shines during the water work of the field events. I can

In 2012, Bogie is now a proven sire of adorable puppies. Bogie really puts his wonderful stamp on his puppies, and shows real promise as a Sire. I can’t wait to see what his puppies grow up to be.
